The Phoenix Barge
The “Lost Barge” — an 80' × 40' steel barge in 75 feet with 5–10 feet of relief.
The Phoenix Barge, also known as the “Lost Barge,” is an approximately 80' × 40' steel barge lying in 75 feet of water about 7 miles southeast of the Destin East Pass.
Sunk on January 1, 1998, she lies north to south and shows good relief of 5–10 feet.
Marine life
Red snapper, porgies, a few small groupers, and at times schools of small amberjacks.
